Halloween 2019
For Hanna Andersson’s fourth fall product release, the focus was on Halloween. I designed all major pages on the website, the email templates for that month, and made plenty of display ads and images for organic and paid social. Considering we had such a bounty of fun photography to select from, and considering I love Halloween, it was truly an enjoyable project.
A huge facet for me was telling the story of how Hanna’s classic organic cotton pajamas work with their durable costume accessories to create endless options for kids’ imaginations. That story had not been told to its fullest and the emails I developed worked to bridge that divide with the customer.
Doing that while also highlighting a multi-tiered promotion was a challenge that I addressed by creating three styles of email: the first was two variations of a solely graphic treatment, the second integrated product images and just touted the promotion, the third delved a little deeper into the story behind the product. These were deployed over a 10-day, 2x/day cadence.
